“Mark lived in a five-story apartment building that was eighty years old and visibly deteriorating,

but the rent was low and this attracted students from George Washington and FBLS.

but after three decades of frat-like wear and tear it had earned its nickname as the Coop.

Cartilage is a tough, flexible tissue found throughout the body.

It covers the surface of joints, acting as a shock absorber and allowing bones to slide over one another.

It can become damaged as a result of a sudden injury, such as a sports injury,

or gradual wear and tear (osteoarthritis).

Minor cartilage injuries may get better on their own within a few weeks,

but more severe cartilage damage may eventually require surgery.

연골은 몸 전체에 있는 질기고, 유연성이 있는 조직이다.

연골은 관절의 표면을 덮고 있으면서 충격을 흡수하는 역할을 하며 뼈가 다른 뼈 위로 미끄러질 수 있게 한다.

연골은 예를 들면 운동 중 부상 같은 갑작스러운 부상이나 점차적인 마모(골관절염)에 의해 손상될 수 있다.

사소한 연골의 부상은 몇 주 안에 스스로 나아질 수 있지만, 더 심한 연골 손상은 결국 수술을 필요로 할 수도 있다.
